DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL PET HEALTH CERTIFICATES FOR TRAVEL

Certificate of Veterinary Inspection / Acclimation Certificate

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic has veterinarians who are USDA certified and accredited to provide domestic and international health certificates. Whether you are moving with the military, for business or simply traveling outside of the country we are committed to assisting you in bringing your pets along with your family.

It is important to note that when it comes to traveling with your pet internationally, it can take several months and multiple visits to the vet to complete the necessary requirements.

Be sure to allow enough time to successfully meet all of the requirements of animal transport. Much research should be conducted well in advance of your travel dates to ensure that you understand and will be able to comply with the specific requirements set forth by your chosen mode of travel. For instance, each domestic airline service has different rules and regulations with regard to flying with a companion animal. You’ll want to have a clear understanding of this ahead of time so there are not any last minute surprises.

You may also want to contact the consulate or embassy of the country that you plan to travel to, as they will be able to provide you with more detailed information on traveling there with your pet. For more information on international travel with your pets, please click here to visit the USDA website.

***All international health certificates must be signed by the state veterinarian in Harrisburg, PA. We will Fed Ex the forms or schedule you an appointment. Almost all forms must be filled out within 10 days or less of travel.***
