Wake Medical Hospitality Pet Program

Mayfair Animal Hospital is proud to support the Wake Med Hospitality Pets Program. This program uses trained volunteers and their adult dogs to make short, in-room visits to eligible and consenting patients. All of the dogs in the program must pass a behavioral and medical screening every 6 months. Dr. Susan Bristol is approved by Wake Med to perform these screenings. Mayfair is happy to offer the exam free of charge to program participants. These Hospitality Pets certainly brighten the lives of the Wake Medpatients and the staff that they visit.
