At Mayfair Animal Hospital’s kennel, our goal is to provide your pet with the best care possible while you are away. The boarding facilities at Mayfair Animal Hospital provide dogs and cats with a first-rate "home away from home" under the supervision of our veterinary staff. Your pets stay in our clean, indoor, climate-controlled facility.
In the warmer months, your dog can splash around in our puppy pool!
Small cages: 2' x 2.5'
Medium cages: 2.5' x 3'
Large cages: 3' x 4'
Runs: 3.5' x 7'
For their comfort, cats are kept in their own
room away from the dog area. In the cat
room, every cat is given its own private window cage with a comfortable bed and an unobstructed view of the outside. A bird feeder is kept outside for their entertainment while they lounge the day away. The sun streams through the windows into each cage most mornings, which they thoroughly enjoy taking full advantage of with a peaceful nap in the warm sunshine.
Reservations are required for boarding, so please call a Mayfair Client Care Specialist at 467-6146 to schedule your pet's stay.

To make your pet's stay even more rewarding, we also offer such additional services as individual scheduled playtime, teethbrushing, coat brushing, and even such amenities as Frosty Paws doggie ice cream! Boarding is also a great time to schedule a bath - just let us know, and we'll have your pet clean and beautiful when you come to pick them up.
Dogs and cats are closely monitored for appetite and health during their stay. They are fed veterinarian-recommended Science Diet food. Given instructions, we will gladly accommodate your pet's special medical or dietary needs. For your pet's safety, all medications to be administered while boarding must be dropped off in their original containers or labeled prescription vials.
You are welcome to leave any blankets to make your pet feel more at home, as long as they are washable. Bath towels will get mixed in with our own and may be lost, so we kindly request that you leave these at home. For your pets' safety, we do not allow any toys or chews to be left with your pet.
Unvaccinated pets are not permitted to stay in our hospital, to protect the health and well-being of our other canine and feline guests. We require documented proof of current vaccination status on the day that you drop-off your pet, or we will update your pet's vaccines at the appropriate fees. If you are not a current patient of Mayfair or your pets vaccines have been performed elsewhere, it is your responsibility to ensure that the vaccine information is successfully faxed to us prior to the first day of boarding. Our fax number is 919-319-0197.
